The One Word Inspiration series is a guest post series on Clear the Way which asks different visiting bloggers to share whatever they are inspired to share when they hear only one word. The word changes each month and today Molly from The Lolly Project is here to share her inspiration from the word explode.
Explode. When I say or hear that word, I think negatively. When you hear “explode” what comes to mind? When you type “explode” into Google, images of bombs appear. When you look up “explode” in the dictionary, every definition has a form of the word “violent” in it.
Why does almost everything in the world have a negative connotation to it? Could it be the development of society? Is it just that some people are more “glass-half-empty” people than others? I often catch myself dwelling on the negative side of things, when it’s usually no big deal.
How can we be more positive during the rest of this year? Keep a journal, take time to think, tell someone, keep yourself accountable, start a blog. Do whatever you need to do to get every negative connotation turned into a positive one. You can do it. I promise.
